Faulk of Georgia

About Our Family Research

I began my FAULK research about 5 years ago. Three years ago, I began my search on the computer. It seems that many of the records were burned, so I cannot find much information on my grandparents, Homer M. Faulk, born 1873 and Sarah,(maiden name unknown) born 1874 and I assume they were born in Dooly County, GA.
I started looking and researching my father Albert S Faulk and mother Molly Viola BURNETTE Faulk genealogy lines. I was trying to find my father's parents, and I found their names in the 1910 and 1920 Georgia census. I found lots of information for my mother's families but not much for the FAULK's.
I was told of FAULK brothers (3 or 4) that were in North Carolina, and later migrated to Georgia. It seems there are several spelling for Faulk, such as Foulke, Folk, Falke, Falk, and others.
As far as I know, there have been no family reunions, and most of my fathers brothers and sisters have passed away. I would love to find the FAULK ancestors. I will keep searching, until I can complete the FAULK family tree.
