Decendants of Henry Alfreds of Port Byron, NY

I have been doing reseach on the Alfreds name for about four years. I have not been able to get passed Henry who was my gggrandfather. I have found that the surname was spelled three ways in the census records I have looked at. They are Alford-Alfred-and Alfreds. Anyone with any more info can contact me at fmalfreds@adelphia.net.
