Want to know what year they came to Ellis Island in New york. I know that my grandmother Carmela Farese lived in Naples Italy and my grandpa ferdanando Carosone was a mason in the hill in Italy somewhere that begins with a F. I am doing research as to what it was like for them when they came and what they did.
My grandfather on the Altland side was born in Kentucky and raised by relatives. His parents died very young. My grandmother was born in Yonkers, NY but told me that her dad was born in AUstralia. Her grandmother she thinks was born in Yonkers also.
My grandmother Agnes McFadden was born in New York city. her mother maiden name was anna madden. i think she was born in gallway ireland.
