We have the descendants of Theodore and Elizabeth (Koelker Schulte-Althoff). Theodore came to the USA from Flaesheim, near Datteln, Germany in 1856 and settled in Delaware County, Iowa. Elizabeth Koelker came to the USA in 1866 from Emsburen, Hannover, Germany. The Schulte was dropped from the name after the Civil War. Henry and Christopher Schulte-Althoff,nephews of Theodore came to the US in 1873 and settled in So. Dakota and Montana.
