My Grandfather was Edward Altamirano He was born on june 10, 1904. He died Oct. 30 1955 in Ca. I know his fathers first name is frank it is on his death cert. he is burried in el cerrito ca. sunset view cem. They where from Livermore Ca. I Think he may have been adopted my a family member? My Father's mother was german and they came from racine wisconsin. I am looking for information regarding the ALTAMIRANO'S MOHR'S ALLEN's his mother's (maiden name GOODFIELD) I'm not sure of her 1st. name anna?? or Martha?. Edward Altamirano is also listed Edward Allen I believe the name Mohr has a connection traced his family to S.D. Colorado N.Y. Wis. Ca. My Father Donald born 6/6/1935 Died 11/29/1976. and Edward of Ca. also another son who died at 18 gilbert david altamirano. I am from ca. now living in Reno Nevada. I was told the Altamirano's family history goes back to Spain. He died before I was born and no one ever spoke of him my grandmother left him when my father was 4. I was told he was a butcher. I have no family left, and want very much to know about him and his family.
