We, my brother Jan and I, are searching people who are able to tell us more about de surnames: Althof and Althoff. At this moment we know that one of our direct great-great etc. grandfather is a Willem Althoff, son of a Heinrich Althoff and Anna Cathrina Boens, both born in Neuhaus. But there are more Neuhauses in Europe. Willem was born in 1782 also in Neuhaus. He moved to Werkhoven (Holland) and was married with Cornelia van den Brink. In the documents we found he called himself Althoff, Althof and Olthof. One of his children was named Johannes Althof (25-05-1820). The rest of this tree is: Pieter Althof (05-03-1853), Johannes Althof (30-03-1883), Albertus Althof (10-03-1924), Wilhelmus Althof (26-05-1957)and last but not least my son Guillermo Luciano Alberto (08-04-1999).
