I recently started trying to trace back my family just to see how far i could go...well not very far at all is what i found.
I can only get a few people on my dads side of the family and none on my moms.
The only things i know so far is my dad was William J.Altenreid Sr,born jan.08,1949 in NewYork,His father was John H.Altenreid born oct.08,1918 and died may 11,1970 in NewYork,my grandmother was Eva m.Hunt(but was adopted by the Wymans in hoosick falls NewYork)thats about all i have that is definate as far as a family tree but i have a lot of information on the family in general.
Update....06/01/2008......found some more regarding the hohine and altenreid families but i need to get onto a different computer to update the info....still needing any info i can get
