I am looking for any info on my Moms Family. She (Juliette Florence Moran) was the first child born December 17,1938 to Victoria Florence Smith from Fall River, Mass and to James Edward Moran from I believe the same place. One year later Victoria and James also had a set of twin boys march 5, 1940. All three children were born in Norwich Connecticut. My Mother doesn't remember very much from her childhood and I would love any help from anybody who might be able to help me to find any info on there lives. I know that they lived in Connecticut, Mass and Rhode Island while they were growing up.My mother really only remebered living in Rhode Island and going to School at St. Mary's School she said. She was never really close with her brothers or her mother. Her Father whom she looked dearly and had nothing but good memories of, died when she was 9 years old.
Her mother died around 1966 at the state hospital in Westerly Rhode Island from sugar diabites. At the time my mother lived in California. She went back for the funeral and then never went back again.
I am trying to find out anything just to try and put the pieces together plus my mother is still alive and would love to try to know alittle about her history because she either doesn't remember or is scared to find out about her parents because her life with them she says was very strange and different than other families that were around them.
