I am in the process of tracing my family tree, having just scratched the surface. I have established my paternal grandmother's father's male line back to my great,great,great,great,great grandfather (a Robert Patton, born around 1700 in Pennsylvania). I am having trouble with my paternal grandfather's history. His name was Benjamin Ambers and he married my grandmother, Isabelle Patton, around 1909 or 1910, my father Roy Alvin Ambers being born in 1911 in Casey County, Kentucky. If anyone can help...
