My father's name is William Franklin (Willie) Amyx.
His father's name is John Amyx, and his father's name Isaac Amyx.
We have a Amyx family reunion every Memorial day week-end, on a Saturday. It is usually a pitch in, where everyone brings their favorite dish. We always go to the cemetary around 11 Sat. morning in Pine Grove, Jackson county, which is about 30 miles from Mount Vernon. Then we all come back for dinner which is usually aroung 2 p. m. It is held at Bible Baptist shelter in Mount Vernon on us 25, on top of the hill.
