My first Ancestor by the name of Cash arrived in America, coming from Scotland. His name was William Cash and he was born in 1653 and died in Westmoreland, Va. in 1708. He was married to Elizabeth Skinner who died in 1750.

At this time, I am trying to determine which of his sons was the ancestor of the Joel Cash who was born between 1807-1809 and he was married to Meeka P. (pertimia) Tindall who was b. between 1817-1809

My mothers father was Joel W. Cash, b. 1859 and died in 1943.
He wass married to Alpha Andrews who told me that she was the daughter of Captain Caleb Chitwood and indeed did spent her childhood with him, his wife, and Amanda who became the mother of Ty Cobb.
