My Father was born Wynnfred,Hoarce ABICHT, in Whipple, Ohio,(1895) USA. He left, its rumored as a young teen to live with relatives in Calf. (no proof of this todate) He changed his name to James Anderson and joined the Canadian Army, Victoria B.C. in 1916, I have these records. His sister Nettie Rittenhouse in Ohio, was the link to him. After yrs. of search (for Anderson) My niece & I have contacted several very special relatives, Two are now looking down from heaven watching my research. Three nieces & my Sister were invited to a re-union in Texas 4yrs ago.
This branch had changed their name to Abbott & moved to Texas.
My Gr.Mothers name was Schofield, another surprise. May 2000. I found my Fathers name was Abicht, & with the help of Ancestry.com Message Bd. my long lost relatives. many,many Thanks. Annette Anderson/Abicht
