My family is from South Carolina. There were Godbolts and Mishoes on my Grandfathers side. On my gradmothers side there were Cooks and Johnsons. My grandmothers side was also part of the Chicora Indians of South Carolina. I am looking for any other information about these surnames. I am just getting started in genealogy and I am a little lost. This is about my maternal grandparent's information.
Also any information about the Jeffords which started around Pembrook, North Carolina and some of which ended up in Florence, South Carolina would be greatly appreciated.
