We have started out filling in the gaps on Janet's Family Tree. Janet's heritage start in Edgefield S.C. with the Talbert, Middleton, Key, Carson, Harrison, Lewis, Quarles, Burress, Yeldell, Seigler and Jennings surnames. The line goes back to arrival in Charles County in the 1600's. The Family Tree we are working off of was compiled and researched by Bertie Kathleen Bates (Talbert), using family bible records, letters and newspaper articles. We have been verifying all existing data to insure it's integrity by cross-referencing as many sources and resources as possible...any added information, suggestions or changes proposed are appreciated.
