I am currently a beginner in search of my heritage.
I have a Scotish heritage on my mother's side (which is what I am currently researching).
The Andrew Dalrymple family tree begins in Scotland, where he was born. He married, had a son, possibly David, and maybe a second child. They emigrated to Ireland where their family grew to three or possibly four more children.
They emigrated to the U.S., I believe through N.Y., and their families settled in NY, PA, and OH.
My grandfather, Kingdon David Dalrymple, is related to this tree through his father, Robert Bruce Dalrymple.
My mother, Margaret D. Dalrymple, was his only child.
She married Harry Augustus Hinman, and they had two children; my older brother, Richard Harry Hinman, and myself.
After my father died, she remarried to Edward Ames Rassett, and they had a son, my half-brother, David Dalrymple Rassett.

I continue my search.
