The Andersons Hugh Cowell Anderson was born in Kentucky in 1863 and was married to Mary Ann Murphy who was also born in Kentucky. They had five children, Charles Veatch, John, Frank, Eliza and Molly. Charles Veatch Anderson was married to Mary Katherine Freshley and to that union were born two sons: Chester Cowell Anderson and Frederick Anderson. Frederick died in 1916 from Diphtheria.
The Millers and Freshleys Frederick J. Freshley was born in Wurtenburg, Germay and died in 1884, was married in Spencer County in 1868 to Mary Ann Miller who was born in 1807 in Boden Germany and died December 24 1900. Their children were Mary Katherine (Katie) Freshley Anderson, George, Oscar, Frederick, Flora, Ida and Carrie.
The Lloyds Joahua Lloyd was born in 1828 in Maryland and married Amelia Sutton who was born in 1829. They were married in 1851. Joahua's father was Thomas Lloyd. Thomas was born in England but ran away and came to America. Charles Lloyd was born to Joahua and Amelia Lloyd. He had one brother Marvin and a sister Hester. Charles Lloyd was County Assessor of Spencer County.
The Rues Charles was married to Sarah (Sally) Rue September 25, 1881. Sally Rue was the daughter of Fredrick Rue born 1838 died 1916 and Barbara 'Pleiss" Rue born 1841 died 1929. Fredrick was born in France in 1839 and married Barbara who was born in 1840. Sally was one of fourteen children. She lived to be 95 years old. Sally was born in 1860 (?New Albany, IN area?) died Spencer County in 1955, buried in New Hope Church Cemetary on State Road 66 2 miles east of Grandview, IN. Sally Rue married Charles Lloyd Sally Rue had 13 brothers and sisters, Margaret "Rue" Richey, Lizzie "Rue" Patmore, Florence "Rue" Partridge, Lilly "Rue" Forthman born 1865 died 1958, Anne "Rue" Wooley, John Rue, Fred Rue born 1865 died 1922, Harry Rue born 1879 died 1936, Henry Rue, Frank Rue born 1876 died 1936, Samuel Rue, William Rue, Addison Rue, Robert Rue, Gus Lloyd born 1870 died 1954
