Dillard Leon Anderson the son of Houston James Anderson and Alpha Louise Womack of Drumright, Oklahoma. I have two brothers James Richard Anderson deceased 1999 and Dale Wayne Anderson and one Sister Erma Lee Downs. We moved from Drumwright, oklahoma in 1948 to Hobbs, New Mexico where my youngest brother Dale Wayne Anderson was born. My father passed away in 1989 in Hobbs, New Mexico. My father had four step brothers Jim, Junior, Adam, Alvie and three sisters Ida Bell, Ruby and Dorthy. The brothers live around Eufaula and Midwest City Oklahoma. Their dad was Andrew Jackson (Andy) Anderson who married Nettie Ann Cecil Okfuskee County on November 11, 1910. Nettie died a few years after the birth of Houston James Anderson my father. Andrew (Andy) then married Mary Smith. Andy and Mary are Buried in the Greenwood Cemetary in Eufaula, Okla. I just found out that Netties parents were James W. Cecil and Mary E. Cecil who came from Arkansas and are Buried in the Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock Oklahoma with her brother John H. "TI" Cecil. Nettie had several brothers John H., William J., Alfred W. and Thomas H.. I have not been able of find her brothers but they were all born in Arkansas. John H. around 1880, Nettie 1893, William H. 1897, Alfred W. 1902 and Thomas H. 1909 or 1908. I believe one of the brothers went by the name of Harley who married a lady named Mable. They lived near Oklahoma City for many years before their deaths in or near 1976.
Andrew Jackson Anderson was born in Mississippi around 1881 with a brother John, and Charlie the other names that have come up are Bill, Wiley, Fan, Ollie Ola and Pose. The 1880 mississippi Census has An Anderson that has several sons and a couple of daughters living in Panola County with only initials and is very hard to read M.J. a daughter is Mollie Jane who married a Frank Carson in Brush Hill Oklahoma and later married a Kyle Evicks of Gowen Oklahoma. If you have any other information I certainly would appreciate the help.
