My sister Teresa and I are starting a search for any information about our ancestors.
We are interested in Andrews, Skinner, and Lowry. These are the names we know of right now.
The Andrews and Skinner side of our family resided primarily in Newark, Ohio. This is our fathers side.
The Andrews name may have been shortened from MacAndrews/McAndrews.
The Lowry side resided primarily in Marion, Ohio and Columbus, Ohio. This is our mothers side.
Our mother (Beulah K Lowry) has stated that we are descendents of Daniel Boone.
Our Great Grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee. I do not know what her name was.
Our Grandfathers are Charles Lewis Andrews and Homer Lowry.
We have lost touch with the family of our parents.
