We are trying to find and locate both sides of the family. We do not have any information on either side, so this is going to be strange and fun at the same time. I do know that my grandparents on my Moms side came through Ellis Island. My grandmother came from Horta Fayel,Azores, Portugal. She arrived on the S.S. Modonna on May 1, 1912. My grandfather came from an island in Greece on a ship around the same time, but we do not know what ship at the moment.
My fathers side, my grandfather came from Neoga, Illinois, his name being Carlos Theodore Anderson. My grandmother came from oakland, California, her name being Minnie Maude Lawson.
