The Halvorson Family research has been conducted by various family members over the years. It has consisted of family interviews with living relatives and visits to Norway to read Norwegian documents. Juneau Johnson did a lot of interviews with family members back in 1984. He got a lot of information from Ester Hogasen, Marit Colbjornsen, Olivia Iverson and Raymond Olson. Raymond Olson continues to visit Norway and read Norwegian documents to learn more about our family.

Juneau (now deceased) wrote up a document and gave to family members in 1984. Twenty years passed before any more work was done with the family history. I have attempted to update the history with data from the last 20 years. Using Family Tree Maker, I made a book for our family in 2003 with an update in 2004. I hope to have an online version so family members can see a updated history.
