My name is Kenneth Anderson. I started researching my family tree 4 years ago and I've enjoyed every moment of it. My family on my father's side, the Anderson, Williams and Dillard family, originate from Ft. Gaines and Lumpkin Ga. , Stewart and Clay counties area. My family on my mother's side, the Thomas and McDowell family, originate from Indian Township, SC. and Wilcox County, Al. As you all know, research for African-American families is very challenging but rewarding. During this research, I've learned to appreciate my ancestors more than ever before. My research is nowhere near complete, so you'll see some change in information ocassionally.
