Levi Anselm Lundgren with wife (Anna Leontina nee Åstrand) and unmarried children immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1920:s from Kiruna, Sweden where he was a building contractor. They both came from a region near Trehörningsjö, Ångermanland, Sweden. They were married there and their children (5 girls & 3 boys) were born there.
This research includes many of their ancestors as well as some of their descendents. Some of their ancestors had colorful careers. One for example was a spy for the Swedish State and was rewarded for his services (spying on the Russians) by receiving a large tract of land.Others handled their economy so badly that they went bankrupt.
