Sharon Kay Brandt Andersson is the youngest of 10 children born on November 21, 1967 in Batesville, AR to Wilfred Victor Brandt (Born 8-2-1928) and Gwendolyn Lorraine Pesnell Brandt (born 3-31-1931) of Columbus, Texas, married 9-16-1947. Sharon is a Registered Nurse in Conway, Arkansas and is the proud mother of Lindsay Allison Darling (born 3-16-1987 in Conway, AR) and Matthew Benjamin Darling (born 12-8-1988 in Des Moines, IA) by first husband Jeffrey Russell Darling of Des Moines, IA (born 10-16-1964), presently residing in Conway, Arkansas. Sharon and Jeff were married 5-23-1987 until 9-18-1998. Sharon enjoys decorating and spending time with family/friends.
Sharon later married Tommy Erik Andersson (born 4-3-1963) of Åkers Styckebruk, Sweden, as the middle of three sons born to Bengt Ivar Andersson (born 10-29-1939 and died 1979) and Ingrid Kristina Ekberg Andersson (born 9-16-1932). Tommy has an older brother named Kenneth Bengt (7-31-1959) and a younger brother named Göran Bengt (3-10-1966) that still live in the same village as their mother. Thanks to modern technology they all keep connected to Tommy via telephone and internet. Tommy works as a Carpenter and loves to cook and fish!
Sharon's family history dates back to Germany, when her Great Grandmother, Selma Kirsten (born 9-13-1866 and died 11-29-1955)married Gustav Berger (born 11-30-1865 and died 10-24-1945) on July 2, 1886 in Goppersdorf, Germany (Saxony)and immigrated to the USA in 1890. Gustav arrived first in Feb. 1890 to work and pay passage for his wife and chidren born in Germany to arrive in August of 1890 in Ellis Island, New York. They later settled in Weimar, Texas. They had a total of 11 children. Great-grandma Selma gave birth to my Grandmother Linda Hedwig (she hated that name!) Berger on 4-13-1905. (the 10th of 11) Linda later married Gerhardt "Alfred" Brandt (born 11-27-1902 to 8-26-1982)on July 2, 1924. Grandma Linda died May 29, 1988 as the only Grandmother I ever had the privelage of knowing. Grandma Linda had three children of her own. Alfred was the only living son of Friedrich Wilhelm and Eva Kahlden Brandt.
On my mother's side, I know that Gwendolyn was born to Thomas Jefferson Pesnell (1-31-1906 to 12-25-1993) and Edna Leah Krueger (10-2-1914 to 6-7-1965) married in Philadelphia, PA on April 15, 1930. There were four sons born after my mother. Thomas Eugene (died at the age of 6 months), David Bruce died in utero from a car accident, Jack Warren (born 4-9-1935) and Donald Harry (born 7-14-1941 and later played for the Dallas Cowboys.) Edna had one brother and three sisters.
