Clayton Anders Anderson (son of Anders Frederick Anderson and Mary Esther Berst) was born 27 Mar 1912 in Cushing (Howard county), Nebraska, and died 17 Sep 1972 in St. Paul (Howard county), Nebraska5. He married Doris Ruth Bucy on 16 Nov 1936 in Grand Island, Nebraska, daughter of LeRoy Bucy and Cinda Clapp.

Clayton attended high school at Cushing but quit during his second year to work at home. He worked as a farm hand for Thorval Rasmussen for several years. One summer, probly around 1934, he worked for Jonas Lucht at Morse Brother's potato field at Pine Bluffs Wyoming. He also picked corn at Tekamah.

Doris and Clayton were married in Grand Island by Justice of the Peace S.J. Shadu. They started farming on the farm Clayton bought from Fred (his father) in 1934. They added to the farm over the years.

OBITUARY

Services for Clayton A. Anderson were held Tuesday, September 19 at the Jacobson Funeral Home In St Paul. The Rev. John O. Craig officiated.
Mrs. Dale Johnson sung “The Old Rugged Cross” and “In The Garden” accompanied by Mrs. Burt Johnson.
Caskethearers were Harold Rother, Wayne Williams, Roy Kolar, Percy Bandt, Gene Jacobson, and Francis Justesen.
Interment was at Elmwood Cemetery, St. Paul Nebraska.
Arrangemerts were made by Jacobsen Funeral Home, St. Paul.
Clayton Aanders Anderson, son of Anders and Mary (Berst) Anderson, was born March 27 1912 at Cushing, Nebraska. He departed from this life at the Howard Coonty Hospital In St. Paul, September 17, 1972 at the age of 60 years.
Clayton received his education and grew to manhood in the Cushing area and there chose farming
as his occupation. He was united In marriage to Doris Ruth Bucy November 16, 1936, at Grand Island, Nebrasba. They to remained In the Cushing area on the farm all their married life. He was baptized at the Former St. John’s Lutheran Church of Cushing and was a member of the United Methodist Church In Wolbach.
Surviving are his wife Doris of Cushlng three sans, Jay of Cushing, David of Boethell, Washlngton and Wayne of Spokane, Washington; one daughter, Mrs.(Marian) Harold Fairbairn of Sac City, Iowa. Three sisters: Miss Verna Anderson, Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Ruth Burger Grand Island, and Mrs. Irene Miller of Lincoln.. Three brothers, Allen of Ericson and Ernest and Carl both of St. Paul and six grandchildren.
Preceding him In death were his parents, Anders and Mary Anderson, his step mother Hulda, and two infant brothers.
