Notes for Andreas (Anders) Jonsson: Anders was a laborer, farmer and field worker. In 1871 he went to Thorslundra. On 7 November 1874 he returned to Glomminge, only to go back to Thorslundra on 7 December 1874. On 27 November 1876 he returned to Glomminge. From 1882-1895 he was a district representative for the Glomminge area. On 15 May 1883 He left for America. This is the date of departure for his Mother-in -law, Sophia Johnson and her four children. Possibly he escorted them. It is not clear when he returned to Glomminge but he was recorded in Glomminge on 23 March 1888.
Both sons immigrated to America. Carl served in the U.S. Army, worked for the railroad and was a blacksmith. The livery barn Fred bought at Wolbach was called ANDERSON BROTHERS, this indicates that they were in partnership and Carl was living in Wolbach in 1910. By 1915 Carl was living in Heppner Oregon. Carl never married. Carl died 15 August 1927 and is buried in Walla Walla Washington.
Anders and Sophia are buried at a country church yard near Glomminge Sweden. Their stone is made of black granite. The stone has their names engraved on as well as "BARENS TACK" Which in swedish means thank you, from the children.
