I haven't really done a lot of research on our family tree until recently when I saw one that my cousin had done on my father's side. I don't know much about my family beyond my grandparents, so it's been interesting to find bits and pieces.
I found the immigration records at ellisisland.org for several family members on my mom's side (the Schwabe's) who came from Germany between 1880 and 1910, and am looking for the information about my father's family in Germany (the Anhold's) before he and his parents and siblings came to the U.S.
