Domenick or Dominick Annunziata born Sept 3, 1898 to Pasquale and Anna Annunziata and moved from Naples, Italy to the US ( residing at 259 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn) and married at age 25 to Benedetta D'Amato born to Stefano D'Amato and Anna Esposito at age 23 (residing at 753 Dean Street, Brooklyn) on May 20, 1923 at Our lady of Peace Church at 522 Carroll Street, Brooklyn. The best man was Nicoli Angelo Ferraro; the maid of honor was Adelaide Ferraro. The priest who performed the ceremony was Reverend Felix Mancini. They were seperated soon after the birth of two sons Pasquale (1924 - 1983) and Ralph (1926 - 1928). Benedetta was a midwife and Domenick was a carpenter.
Domenick left and did not return to his family. Since they were not legally divorced; Domenick changed his name to Donato Annunziata and also used Domenico Annunziata (most likely to re-marry).
Social Security records show that he applied in 1966 for social security listing his name as Donato but signing as Domenick. His address in December 1966 was 401 Linwood Street, Brooklyn 11208. Domenick now listed his parents names as Giuseppe and Domenica Albana. At the time he filed the social security application he was age 68. He listed his Birth Place as San Giuseppe Veriano, Naples, Italy. However, his signature on the SS application matches his signature on his marriage license application.
Death records show that Donato died 1977 residing at 401 Linwood Street, Brooklyn, NY 11208. He is probably buried at the Evergreen Cemetary, Brooklyn, New York. I am sure that he remarried after 1928 and lived in Brooklyn, NY till his death. I am seeking any information on Domenick or Domenico or Donato Annunziata or his second marriage and any subsequent children or Grand children.
