The Apking family name is actually two different families that settled in the Greater Cincinnati area. My grandfather Fred Apking lived in the City of Wyoming, near the current French Park and eventually in Evendale,Ohio on a farm. I am currently searching for the origins of the Apking family associated with Fred Apking who was born in the late 1800's in relation to Fred's father and grandfather and the country of origin before moving to the U.S.
