I have only just begun my family research. There is a reference book I am using from someone in my family, Clara Morgan, wrote. But I actually am more interested in finding ancestors from my grandmother family. Her family history is sketchy to say the least, the daughter of a Albert Henderson who never married her mother, Ida Rose(I think). And she(my grandmother) was the granddaughter of a James Rose who reportedly is half Indian...not much to go on. Also descendents of Hal & Taylor Allen have a family reunion July in North Eastern Texas.
