About Our Family Research
If you're reading this page, you are probably related to me and are interested in seeing where you fit into my family tree, or you may want to use the research I've done about my family to get more detailed info about your own family tree.
The research on this page was collectively put together over a period of 6 years (1991-1997) by myself (Rahul Aranha), my sister (Mohini Aranha), my mum (Sandra Aranha) and my Dad (Prem Aranha). There were also useful contributions by my grandparents (Jerome and Maud D'Costa) besides other family members like my uncle and aunt, Hillary and Yvonne Cornelio. I also visited the churches and graveyards of my ancestors back in Mangalore, and was able to trace back my Aranha roots to our Hindu forefathers, the Shenoys (Anthappa and Vithappa) of Mangalore in 1753.
Further research on the Goan side of my family is also planned for a later date.
