TROXLE Family: from SWITZERLAND to KENTUCKY
Updated May 31, 2003
| About Our Family Research |

NOTE: Probably every TRACHSEL, TROXELL, TROXEL, TROXLE, TROXTELL, TROXWELL, and TROXLER in the United States today are descended from Stephan TRACHSEL; b. circa 1536 in Lenk, Canton of Bern, Switzerland. For some twisted reason, the surname spelling altered over time.
How I fit into the picture is my mother, Sylvia (TROXLE) ARMES, still living in Hardinsburg, Breckinridge County, Kentucky. Many genealogies and family history pedigrees have been published on this family. I have borrowed from many and would like to give them credit: Mike Troxell, Tom Troxell, Harry E. Miller, Larissa Souzer, Barbara England, Ronald Troxle, Steven Troxel, and Vivian Kinkade; I've missed some, but will add later.
I've added other maternal family genealogies to this web page from my Mother's side of the family. They include: MEREDITH, KEITH, MONROE, and SEGO. Because of Genealogy.Com's limitation, I can only submit five family histories. Other maternal family lines that I have are: MINYARD, DOSSEY, BLAIR, and SKAGGS.
My disclaimer: I guarantee no information to be absolutely accurate for I rely principally on my internet cousins and published county, state, and federal information whenever possible; in some cases, that information is suspect also. Believe it or not, I don't make any of it up; I hope my sources didn't either!
This web site in continually a work in progress. Give me time. It will improve!
