This would be my Great Great Grandfather. He and others in the family came over separately from Sweden. Some went to Utah and ended up in Idaho. They include Elof Nelson (son) and families from there down.
Nels went to South Dakota
I know that Nels was born in Vessmanstorp, Haglinge, Kristianstad, Sweden Oct.9,1836 and died Nov. 27,1908 and was buried Nov. 30,1908 in Waubay, Clay County, SD . At least that is what family records show. His wife, Ingri or Ingrid Lofstedt or Lovstedt is buried in Heise Idaho.
I found that Nels bought land in Day County SD Aug. 26,1902.
I can not find the cemetary where Nels was buried in Waubay.
Anyone with any other information or corrections please let me know.
