I have the Arnoux Family Bible that was started by James M. Arnoux & Josephine Susan Armell on November 22, 1867. I am in the process of continuing the births, marriages, deaths.
I located a marriage certificate for Edmund Arnoux & Emma Crane, these are the parents of James.

There are several spellings for Armell, e.g., In Browning - Armel/Hamel; family bible is Armell, I have also seen the spelling as Armelle found in the l870 census. The spelling Hamell is found in the decendents of Augustin Hamell and Maria Louisa LaMote from Canada.
