I started seaching for family information about 3 years ago. I am researching Herndon,Fry,McMillan,Smith,Mitchener, and many more that tie into this family tree. My great grandfather was Zachariah Allen Herndon who married Emma Trevette Fry. Zach also married Indiana D. McMillan. Emma's parents were Duncan McNiel Fry and Amanda Tennessee (Smith) Mitchener. Zach parents are a brick wall, however I have information that suggest that they were Dillard J. Herndon and Mary Ann Evans. I have to agree with some of my cousins that Dillard and Mary Ann lived in the Federal Witness Protection Program.
