About Our Family Research

not much is known about the aronhalt name.my father, Carl, Aronhalt, was born in Anadarko Oklahoma, October 8 1923. His mothers name as listed on his birth certificate was Cora gibbins.
His fathers name, as listed on same was Herbert Hyatt Aronholt.
Carl lived with, and raised by his sister and her husband, Shirley and Lester Steele in Anadarko Ok.This is where the mystrey always was. As a boy I remember traveling from Ohio to Oklahoma almost every summer with my family, we always stayed with "Aunt Shirley and Uncle Lester". My mom would question Shirley often about my fathers parrents, but Shirley would either evade the questions or just flat out not give any answers. But we all loved her and no hard feelings ever came about. Lester was a man of few words, a likeable guy but never liked to talk long on any subject, and he was soft spoken. i'm trying to piece the past together somehow. the mystery hinges on Carl's "real birth father". We remember his fathers name as beeing Samuel Aronhalt, but when we looked at his birth certificate it's Herbert. Carl had a brother named Tinsley "GOTCH" Aronhalt, and sisters Shirley, Oma,and Stella.
