Two brothers, Frederick Munzesheimer and Simon Munzesheimer, were born in Germany between 1825 and 1848. They both were in Wilkinson County, MS at varying times between 1859 and 1871. Frederick eventually settled in Dallas, TX. Simon was in Mineola, TX. On January 11, 1902, in Mineola, Aaron Munzesheimer (one of Frederick's sons), shot and killed his uncle Simon. There are at least two other Munzesheimers who may be brothers to or somehow related to Frederick and Simon. Max Munzesheimer was a merchant in Ardmore, OK. Herman Munzesheimer fought in the Civil War from Wilkinson County, MS and later moved to NY.
