My name is Aloysius Artz and the following genealogy was compiled in the first instance to celebrate the 50th. anniversary of our arrival in Australia.
We arrived on the 14th. May 1956. Aboard the Johan van Oldenbarnevelt.
It was with a lot of help from variuos Dutch sources that I was able to compile this list of my ancestors, on both my Fathers side (Artz), and my Mothers - Wannet.
The first 5 generations on the Artz side of the family is open to conjecture.
As my research is continuing I would welcome any further information, also as I'm located in Australia all of my information has been sourced from the internet.
