A part of my genealogy was destroyed by barbarians. If somebody try to extend our genealogical table,he(she) should have in mind that many our ancestors had two or more wives, and halfbrothers were using differant variations of the same surname Asiewicz(Asevicius),Acewicz (Acevicius),Aczas,Acas,Acus,Acukas,Azukas,etc. Our oldest known ancestor Tomasz Asiewicz had the son Bartolomiejus Azukas 1758-?.Bartolomiejus had sons Kristupas 1800-1867,Juozas 1796-?, Motiejus,and Liudvikas. Liudvikas had sons John 1854-? and Lewis 1850-? Azukas Juozas born 1796 had the son Juozas 1826-1854 which had sons Petras-Michael 1869-1953 and Jurgis; Petras-Michael 1869-1953 had sons Linas 1908-1976,Jurgis 1902-1985,Albinas(Albert) 1913-1996, John 1907, Joe, Charles 1912; Linas 1908-1976 has the son Kessler Richard 1937-

It was passed down from a generation to generation that Vaisnys(Voisnis)' family originated from some Vilnius' Gypsy
tabor (camp). .My grandmother Marija Vaisniute-Aseviciene has sacrificed her life giving a birth to Stasys Lozoraitis junior (presidential candidate). Archibishop Jurgis Matulaitis was a grandson of Agnieska Vaisniute. A son of her stepson was the academician Krisciunas.
