Maude & Gillis Abney, Dreyfus, KY

About Our Family Research


Maude and Gillis were married December 1915 at Dreyfus (Bearwollow) KY, and had 4 children. Gillis was killed at the age of 27, with the youngest children not born until 3 months after his death. Maude raised all 4 children by herself. I have spent many hours trying to find out about Maude's and Gillis family and this the information that I have completed so far. If anyone has information to add please let me know.
