I have been researching our families for about two years now. The Ashinhurst's came from North Carolins, thru Kentucky where they stayed for many years. Some of them went to Missouri, some to Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas, and various states.

The Williamson's originated in Virginia, came thru Tennesses and on to Northwest Arkansas.

I am also researching Watts, who originated with Trader John Watts and the Cherokees. Our branch of the Watts settled in Arkansas, but some came on to Oklahoma. Another line I am researching is Jefferson. These are our direct lines. Other names we have in our line are Harris, Davis, Kelly/Kelley, Widener, James, Thrasher, Simpson, Marcum/Markham, Neighbors, Robbins, Stroud, Lowery, Cliburn, Cross, Jones, & Williams.
