My maternal family line traces to Mayflower descendants John Alden, William Mullins and Thomas Rogers. I am a member of The General Society of Mayflower Descendants. This line also traces to Revolutionary War ancestor, Grindall Reynolds, and I am a member of The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

My paternal family line traces roots to Norwegian ancestors. Although research of this line has not resulted in membership to any genealogical organization, it has identified hard-working and warm-hearted emmigrants who have in their own way made America the land it is today.
