This is an exploratory effort to gather and catalogue information about the Ashrafi and Aliabadi family.

Both families are Iranian in origin and some have migrated to Europe and the United States primarily around and after the 1978 Islamic revolution.

I am married and now have three sons that will expectantly be interested in their paternal origin. As my father recently passed away and my mother, aunts, and uncle are reaching a critically old age, it is now imperative to document their knowledge of our family and its members.
