There are ten Hagers who grew up on "Hager Hill" We had a brother who died in 1933 from a severe case of croup, He was number five in line. I was the oldest of the "Hager Kids"
being nine at the time.(Ruth Anna) After me came Johnnie Clinton,James Cornelious,Ilder Jean,Raymond Cebert, Mary Jewel,Geneva Evelyn.Calvin Cecil,Alvin Lee, Ronnie Allen and
Christalee.
We were raised on a hundred acre hill farm in Putnam County
West Virginia. We all attended a one room school located only
very short distance from our home.
