The family research in Lithuania was done by Aldona Actrovyte in Panevezys. In the USA materials from Veronica Latvenas and Aldona Kropas was collected by Aloyzas Astravas. He, since his escape from Soviets in 1944, visited his relatives in Lithuania in 1991 August-October. His purpose was to update the 1938 Lithuanian Constitution and therefore was not much time to dedicate for genealogical research. Only in mid 2000 this matter was activated by Aloyzas Astravas.
