I recently started to do research into our family history, and I am absolutely thrilled and excited to be doing this. I have already started sending out family questionnaires to those of you for whom I have addresses. The family is dying out and before we lose anyone else, I decided to do the research needed.
I am looking forward to working on this project for the next few years. I hope to publish a book and/or create DVDs for any family members who are interested in our family's history when the research is completed. I am also going to try to e-mail updates of this project periodically to any of you for whom I have e-mail addresses.
As much as I love doing this, it is very costly. I have plenty of time as I am on disability. However, my progress is limited by my funds. If you have any items you can send me such as stamps, copies of birth, marriage, or death certificates, draft registration cards, naturalization papers, and pictures, it would greatly facilitate the project. If you wish to participate more directly, I would welcome it.
I am looking forward to being in touch with my family, those I've lost touch with and those I've yet to meet. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me at the e-mail address below.
