I have been attempting for the last 3 years to locate the parents of Leo Robert Aszmann born in Koenigsberg, Prussia. He was born June 28, 1878 and died March 26, 1961 in Cincinnati, OH.He married Freida Rose Sokolowski----born April 4, 1884 in Germany or Hungary and died December 1, 1968 in Cincinnati, OH. They had 5 children: Shirley, married Ray Gordon; Ruth, married Lynn Weil; Wilson, married Jessie R. Herr; Robert, married Zella; Stanley Joseph, married Louise Vera Hitch. Stanley and Louise had two sons, Jerome Lee and Stanley George. I am Lois Bremer Aszman, wife of Jerome Lee. Our sons are the only Aszman's to carry the name and I would love to find out more about Leo's family. Leo was a retired machinist for the Cincinnati Traction Company. He was in the Spanish American War and fought with Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders in Cuba.
