The information that I have starts with Peter Murry born 1778 Ireland & Jane Carmichael born in Ireland and married in 1792.
Peter & Jane were my GGGgrandparents and thier children were Joseph, Michael, Rosanne, Peter, and James.
They came to Scott Township in Ontario about 1839
- Was a member of the Quaker Hill Presbyterian Church 1839-1840
- Had a farm at Lot 15, Concession 6, Scott Township
Joseph Murray 1807-1886 and Elizabeth Marshall 1810-1899. Their sons were Thomas, James, John, Joseph, Peter, William George & Mary J.
Joseph & Elizabeth were my GGGrandparents.
Joseph married Eliabeth Marshall at Uxbridge, Ontario. Canada Date Unknown.
- Came to New Brunswick, Canada 1842 and to Scott Township Ontario 1849
- Joseph worked in lumbering at Mirimidi, New Brunswick and was also a sailor.
- Joseph was known to be a great walker and once walked 22 miles to Uxbridge and back when he was in seventies.
William George Murray 1854-1942 & Isabella Hewitt 1852-1914. Their children were Joseph, John J, William, Edgar, Ida, Walter, Thomas Neubery.
William George & Isabella were my GGrandparents.
Walter Russell Murray 1887-1968 & Ethel May Lewis 1889-1971. Their children were Isabel, Russell, Thomas Marshall(my father), Edgar, Percy, Leonard, Ernest, Jack, Ida May, Ida Irene, Cecil & Nelson.
Walter & Ethel Murray: Thomas & Alice Murray were my Grandparents. My parents were first cousins.

Alice Marjorie Barker's parents were Thomas Johnson Barker, born in England and Claribel Dickenson born in England.
Thomas Marshall Murray & Claribel Murray are my parents.
Thomas & Claribel were born at Darmody, Saskatwan., Canada
