It was not until the death of my father, James I. Auer (1930-2000) that I had an interest in researching my family history. Having a limited base to start with, I vowed to not put my children in the same situation after my passing and now begin the search for them. As a family we will continue to add to "Auer" family tree, learning together the history from where our family name originated from.
