I am a Latter Day Saint wanting to discover my family history through genealogy. My number one goal is to submit our family names to the LDS records, and provide them opportunity to receive the gospel. My second goal is to dedicate a family history book in honor of my father who has been one of the greatest inspriations of my life. I have joined forces with a second cousin named Robert (Bob) Kenworthy from Gettyburg, Pennsylvania, who has graciously provided a great deal of information about the Kenworthy heritage. My father (Robert J Thompson) while serving in the UAFB married my mother (Emilyjane Nielsen) in November 1954. My father was raised in California, his family (Thompson-Kenworthy) comes from the East coast. My mother comes from Canada with family from New Denmark. My sister (Rebecca) was born in Maine, then my parents moved to Tuscon, Arizona where my brother (Bobby) and I were born, and then while being in Japan, my brother (David) was born. Shortly after, we moved to North Carolina. We came to Camarillo, California in September of 1966.
