I have only recently started in my research of both my mother's side - the Padget's of Omaha, NE and my father's side - the Strauss's, latest of Los Angeles Area, California and Ohio prior to that. My information is limited due to the short time I have been researching, but I have several people in the family on both sides who have much more information and documentation than I do. I am working on them first.
What I know now is that my paternal grandfather Milton Strauss held a number of city positions with the City of Maywood, CA. Also, that my maternal grandfather, George W. Padget served in World War 1, and on the Omaha Police Department.
